Hope shoots out from us, lighting up paths, sparking ideas and reinventing souls. Vibrant and purposeful, it can be something that we work very hard and deliberately to have, or it can be a bright shocking realization that hits suddenly and powerfully. When I designed and created this piece, it was to express intense joy. But when I finished and stepped back to take a look, it felt more like this fierce explosion of hope.
